About us
The Community Gathering
Our roots go back to the Solent Celebration that took place in the year 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. From then every two years in early July the Strawberry Field, off Newtown Road in Warsash transformed into a wonderful village fair. The Warsash Festival grew to become a dynamic celebration of life in Warsash and the local community and in 2019 the glorious weather attracted over 7000 people to the event. The Festival is the ideal opportunity for local businesses, organisations and clubs to promote who they are and what they do and raise money for their own good causes. The Warsash Festival Committee is chaired by Matthew Chase who welcomes any general enquiries regarding the event. As general guidance, we define ‘local’ as those who are based and operate in the Western Wards of Fareham. Emails of a general nature can be sent to info@warsashfestival.co.uk.
